Pioneer Stone Enhancer is a breathable, solvent-based, penetrating, water repellent. Designed to be used on natural stone such as travertine, lime stone, marble, granite, sandstone and slate. It provides a unique and beautiful enhancement to the existing colors of the substrate. Pioneer stone enhancer also acts as a protective shield against staining and simplifies maintenance and cleaning, and also helps to prevent some deterioration of the substrate caused by water and and contaminates carried by water.
Application: Pioneer Stone enhancer is ready to use product. Shake well before use. Mask to protect any surfaces near application area where treatment is not desired. Use a brush, roller, or low pressure sprayer (less than 50 PSI) with the fan tip to apply to surface. Apply enough Pioneer Stone enhancer to keep the surface uniformly wet for 2 to 3 minutes. After applying Pioneer Stone enhancer to surface collect excess sealer with a clean absorbent towel to remove any excess residue. Repeat process until all residue is completely removed. Note some surfaces will need additional applications to reach desired color and enhancement. Remove excess thoroughly after 10 to 15 minutes.
Coverage rate will depend on substrate texture, porosity, and application method.
Typical coverage is 100 - 500 sq ft per gallon.
Clean equipment with mineral spirits.
DO NOT leave in direct sunlight and keep from freezing.
DO NOT apply when air or surface temperature is below 55°F. Low temperatures and high humidity will affect dry and cure time.
